Minecraft Seed Finding
Intro
See, Minecraft seed finding has always amazed me, but when confronted to it, i find it pretty hard to understand anything.
As of now i haven’t achieved much, but i wanted to post out this article in hopes of motivating me.
Dungeon / Monster room
During Davinci CTF, we stumbled accross the following challenge:
So, we need to find a world seed from a set of picture. Mmmmmh since it was my first time in seed reversing i didn’t even know where to start.
Let’s take a look at the pictures first, shall we ?

I found this picture useful because i thought we could do something of the presence of a desert in 0;0.

Then came this one, a picture of a dungeon with coordinate, i knew dungeon were so rare in minecraft that it had to be a picture we would need to use to find our world seed.
After looking for some times on talks, papers or anything remotely connected to our problem, i stumbled this github repository
